Back From the Atlantic

Hello! Hello! Hello!

                I am refreshed and ready to rock! I know today is Wednesday, but I got back from a 10 day family vacation on Saturday!!!!  Took a day to recoop and the last two days I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

                Where were we…….We stayed in a condo town share in beautiful Massanutten, VA and traveled through Washington DC the first and last days of our trip.  We Saw everything, Ate everything, Sweated everything, and Experienced everything that region of the US had to offer us while we were there.

                Did you see news reports about that huge storm that hit Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland?  WE DROVE THROUGH IT!  I knew that it was a tenacious storm but blissfully enjoyed the lightning and wind.  Little did I realize the tenacity that seemed to convolute reality, was in fact the true state of the storm.  I can now say I survived a severe Tropical Thunder Storm.  Praise God.    

                If you didn’t catch reports on the storm, did you catch reports on the MAJOR heat wave that struck those states while we happened to be there?  Though almost everyone survived the storm, reports have said around 30 people have not survived the repercussions of it in combination with the terrible heat.  The storm had left close to a million people without electricity for over a week.  This resulted in a growing number of deaths. 

SO HOT! BUT! SO FUN! 

                However, the trip was a BLAST!!!!   I won’t go over everything in just one post about it.  Why?  I don’t seem to be a consistent blogger so why wouldn’t I just throw it all up into one post and call it a month right? 

                Well, that is because I AM STARTING A 30 DAY BLOGGER CHALLENGE!!!!  Life is always crazy, I can’t use that excuse for my lack of creativity and discipline anymore.  I am going to blog it up, so until I get into a rhythm of writing again, I am going to suck this vacation theme dry, like I sucked down an Italian Icee across from the WWII museum on a 115 degree day, humidity included, last Friday.  Ready for Vanity?  Obsession?  Drama?  Boredom? And maybe even a surprise????  Me too!  I personally can’t wait to see what I pull out of my hat because I have no idea what I am going to come up with.  But, I will promise me this: it is going to be entertaining content!

                I am exceptionally excited to share what is going on in the Lentz household, and what I may have seen everywhere on Vacation, and my souvenirs, and of course antique finds.   Also, I have tutorials in the mixture, reviews to boast, and some life goals that may or may not be occurring at this very moment!
