I have an obsession for
the written word and illustration of stories. Being a film critic would
be a dream. I crave the ability to draw a straight curve. Homebrew is an art,
and craft beer is nectar of the Gods. I love the feeling of dried acrylic
paint on my hands. There is nothing better than a smile created from something
you baked or cooked. I have a desire to sew and a goal to tackle it. Crochet is my love and and knitting my mistress. Listening
to music has been my freedom. And seeing how people’s minds interpret the
world with their creativity is consistently one of the most beautiful things to
witness.
No, but really. I love the arts and crafts community. My goal for being 27 is an active Etsy store and to actually be in a craft fair or bazaar. I have had these goals for a while and have always come up with reasons as to why I am not good enough. But, I am over it. Let's do it. I am good enough. Due to my realization that with Pinterest my neglected blog has been gaining traffic for my crochet posts, I have decided to reignate this flame. I have some patterns I would love to share as well as just some plain old interests. Please follow me on this unexpected journey back to the blogging world to help my Etsy store and needle arts/sewing passion thrive.
Oh, one more thing, while you are reading about little 'ole me... I may insert some photos of my family from this point on but not too many. I am debating on what past content to delete and what to keep. This is a blog about me and my passion for the needle arts/sewing, and yes my family is a huge inspiration as to which new projects to try, however, this is my passion and not theirs and they may not wish to have a huge internet presence and do not have to.
