I know that it is Tuesday...but...I wanted to share a little glimpse of the awesome weekend we had.
Fiona went to two new states this weekend.
Saturday she visited Nebraska for the first time!
Sunday she visited Wyoming for the first time!
Very exciting.
On Saturday Jason, Fiona and I took a trip to Sidney, Nebraska - the Motherland of Cabelas. It is a fun city to visit when we need to stretch our wings further than Sterling for a bit. The residents of Sidney do the same, and visit Sterling and its stores when its time for a bit of a change. We all had a great time. The photos above are taken on Main St. in Sidney, Nebraska. Jason had an especially great time. He went on a guilt-free shopping spree at Cabelas for his archery stuff. It was pretty awesome. He was nothing less than a kid in a candy store.
Sunday the whole fam bam went to do some shopping in Cheyenne, Wyoming. (I went to my motherland - Joann's - which was located inside a mall!) With all the excitement of us visiting Cheyenne for the first time and traveling new roads together I completely forgot to take awesome pictures. But I snagged a few. The pictures above this paragraph are of the Pawnee National Grasslands (EPIC!). Cheyenne is an awesome city, reminiscent of a suburb. We enjoyed it, but Jason and I will remain residents of Sterling where there is a quarter of Cheyenne's population.
I think the coolest part of the trip for us was seeing at least 60 Antelope to and from Sterling. My husband calls them Speed Goats. We saw mostly does but we did see a few bucks!
I ended the day with my favorite beer and new favorite beer cozy!
Cheers!
