Moscow Mule Recipe

Hello Friday, Hello Moscow Mules!

Now, I might be a conservative gal, but I will admit I enjoy micro brew and a nice clean and bitter cocktail.

Typically, I am a Whiskey & Coke girl or a Gin/Vodka Tonic.  I am not into the frou frou and sugar.  That is just not me.  I am a bitter soul, so warm me up with bitter and manly drinks!  Leave the pansy stuff outside, so the pansies stay outside.  (my new motto...I think I like it.)

Anyways.  This is a brand new drink to Jason and I and holy hell is it amazing and unbelievably underrated.

According to my brief research Moscow Mules were wildly popular in the 1940's when the first carload of Jack Morgan's Cock 'n' Bull ginger beer made it through the rails of New York.

If you are in the mood to try something new, I highly, highly encourage you to try making a Moscow Mule.

Moscow Mule Recipe (for 16 oz. mug)

Ingredients:
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Ginger Beer
Lime and Mint Sprig

Directions:
Pour the Vodka and lime juice into a chilled copper mug containing several ice cubes.  Top off with the
ginger beer and stir.  Garnish with lime wedge and mint sprig.

Cheers!
